About Me


Jerlean Noble is employed at the University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC.  Mrs. Noble is a wife, mother, and grandmother.  Though born in Greenville, SC she’s made Columbia her home.  She enjoys church, family and work.  She and her organization has made outreach it's mission sponsoring programs for homeless children, incarcerated women, and at-risk youth.  She feels responsible to those whom she feels God has led her to help.  She enjoys success as an author and poet .

Wordz Up:  A Story To Tell

 Of the five books  she’s written, Big Mama and Me (her first publication) is still her favorite. She was selected as a contributing author in The Writer’s Net: Anthology of Prose, Vol. I, edited by  Gary D. Kessler.  Jerlean is also President and founder of the Columbia Writer’s Alliance, a 501(c)3 organization now in it’s eighth year (www.colawriters.com).  Tin Can is her first novel.
